I was very surprised when I logged onto Deviant art today to find that a new friend had given me a gift, a few points for which I am very grateful. As a thanks I will share some of his deviations for all of you to enjoy.  Here is a feature just for you       

School. The thing that takes absolutely all of my time during the semester. It is exhausting but rewarding as well. I keep telling myself that in just a few more semesters it will all pay off. Whenever I get onto Deviantart I am overcome with the desire to upload something grand and new and beautiful, however, sadly, I have not had time to go out and take photos, explore the world. I suppose that right now school is the most important thing above all else, and I just cannot wait until this beautiful summer. Here in school, locked within my small dorm room for many hours of each day I find inspiration hard to come by. In addition to a lack of inspiration when I take pictures of sunsets from my window (which is an incredible view) I am distracted by the grid marks of a screen on every image. Thus I do not want to upload them. Ugh... sorry for the complaining. Also, while apologies are being made, sorry for my absence, not responding to comments and so on. They are appreciated, each comment, each favorite, and each llama. Thank you everyone for everything. I hope to be better this summer when I will theoretically have more time. I hope all is well with all of you.

Hello all of my wonderful DeviantArt friends! I hope that you are all doing well. I hope that your weather has been lovely and summer like as well! Lately here it has been raining. Today it has been pouring. It is rather disheartening, especially when we are given a taste of what it could be like. Alas, soon it will be more summer like. Hopefully!

Anyway, I come to you all today with some very exciting news. Some of you may know about my group . It is a wonderful group filled with wonderful and talented people from all around the world! How exciting is that? I have a passion for photography, but also for traveling, so this group is fun for looking at pictures from around the world. Recently someone contacted me and asked if I planned to do anything with the group, something to make it a little more exciting. Together we decided that it would be fun to start something special in the group. And so we decided that contests could be a new and exciting way to generate interest in the group as well as make it more than just a place to drop off your work. The contest we currently have going on is food. Who doesn't love food, much less pictures of food. My tummy rumbles just thinking about it.

Also, as I realized shortly after posting this first contest, some people were worried that this meant they had to go on a trip to take the pictures and contribute to this contest. The beauty of it is that you don't have to go anywhere. You can go in your own kitchen and make something up that you feel represents your area and submit a picture of that. You don't have to go anywhere! The way I see it is that we do not all live in the same place, so food from the place you live in may be different than where I live. All the same, I think it is a fun thing to do.

Tis the season of finals... tis the season of desperation and misery. These last few weeks are always the hardest. I for one have had an awful time this week of keeping my mind focused. But as of now I am left with two finals to go. One tomorrow and the last Friday. I can feel my blood burning, my heart racing. I need to get out of this house! After spending many hours on my take home final I am burned out. Thankfully I have a couple days to get over it before the other big final. Tomorrow's shouldn't be too terrible.

My saving thought is about what will happen once this semester is finally over. Yes, it will be a wonderful time! I want to go out into the wild and find the creatures I have yearned for weeks, for months even to see!




Last year I was really lucky. I had the pleasure of seeing 5 of these glorious and adorable creatures. I hope that this season is just as good!

So how is everyone doing? I am so sorry for not replying to messages and comments but I have been so incredibly, insanely busy! Forgive me please!
I hope all is well with everyone and that soon I will be able to present you all with some wonderful pictures. I am very hopeful for this summer!
